Abingdon goalkeeper Gareth Walker has won the Supporters' Player of the Season vote. In a close contest the Town stopper, who has enjoyed an excellent season, just pipped joint-top scorer Carl Bloomfield to the award. Thanks to all who voted and many congratulations to Gareth who will be presented with his trophy at the Presentation Evening this coming Friday. |

Abingdon play the game of their lives to beat Almondsbury Town 1-0 at Culham Road, thereby clinching the League title for North Leigh. Richard Wells scores the all important goal in the 61st minute in a pulsating game that also sees Almondsbury keeper Danny Holdcroft save a first half Carl Bloomfield penalty. [Report] and [Pics]
Unfortunately for Town it's not enough to keep them out of the bottom 4 as Carterton draw 1-1 at Kidlington. |
